How it works
Four steps from noise
to a shortlist.
You bring the conviction.
Scout does the connecting.
Write your thesis once
Sectors, stages, geographies, and everything that makes a fit. Scout turns your investment thesis into the criteria behind every discovery.
Pre-seed and seed climate software. Technical founders building for grid, storage, and industrial decarbonisation.
Written in your words. Understood by Scout.Product
Judgement you can audit, not a black box.
Every lead arrives with the reason it surfaced, who it came through, and the public facts behind the score.
Confluence
When three people you trust land on the same founder.
Scout links every discovery back to the seeds and the moments that surfaced it — across LinkedIn and X — so independent conviction stands out from a single retweet.
Assessment
Scored against your thesis.
Relevance, confidence and a lead-or-signal call, with the reasoning attached.
Above the stage ceiling — Series B announced in April. Strong operator; worth keeping as a signal, not a lead.

The difference
Stop searching. Start hearing about it.
- Hours scrolling LinkedIn and X hoping to catch something early.
- You hear about the founder when the round is announced.
- A gut-feel shortlist nobody else can check.
- Three trusted people circling the same company goes unnoticed.
- The people you trust are watched for you, on the schedule you set.
- New founders and companies surface on the next run after they appear.
- Every lead scored against your thesis, with the reasoning attached.
- Confluence flags it the moment independent signals line up.
FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
What exactly does Scout watch?
The LinkedIn and X profiles you add as seeds. Each run captures a fresh snapshot of every seed and compares it with the last one, so Scout only works on what changed — new follows, posts, comments, reactions, tagged users, quoted posts and the people and companies they point to.
How does Scout decide what's relevant?
Your thesis — sectors, stages, sizes, geographies, follower ceilings and free-text criteria — is compiled into the instructions every discovery is assessed against. Each result gets a relevance tier, a confidence level, a lead-or-signal label and the reasoning behind it, so you can disagree with it on the merits.
What's the difference between a lead and a signal?
A lead is someone you might invest in — a founder or a company that fits. A signal is context worth knowing — a co-investor, an operator, or a pattern of attention — that isn't itself a deal.
Does Scout send me alerts?
Not today. Scout is pull-based: your leads, swipe deck and dashboard are waiting whenever you open the app. There's no email or chat spam to tune out.
Is my data shared with other Scout customers?
No. Every job, seed, discovery and assessment belongs to your account and is isolated from other clients.
